Hello Friends! If you have kept up with my blog so far then you know that I posted last month on some redecorating I have been doing. If not, let me catch you up! I was inspired to decorate my home in a more bohemian style. It is something I wish I could have done a long time ago but because of so many moves, was never able to get around to. So every month I have been adding small, inexpensive, decorative touches around my home.
A big part of my lifestyle is crafting things for very little money. The Dollar Tree and thrift stores are my favorite places to shop. If you have patience and a little imagination you can find some really great items! All of my new decor was found at either the Dollar Tree, a thrift store, I made myself, or already owned.
I cant get over how whimsical my new meditation spot looks. I already owned all these items but arranged them in a way that really works well together. Both the vase and the painting are handmade.
I recently fell in love with making Gods Eye Mandalas, they are supposed to have protective powers. It is somewhat meditative to make them and actually pretty quick to make once you get the hang of it. I made this double mandala for my bedroom.
It should be no secret by now that I have a great recipe for crafting your very own aromatherapy candles ( Easy Natural Candles). I found this mandala plate in the clearance section of IKEA for $1. I ended up using it as a drip plate for my candles.
The decorative shelf is full of items from the Dollar Tree. The IMAGINE sign, the colored jars, and the gold platter. I added a few other things like crystals and a smudge stick to try and tie it together.
Im pretty proud of the purple bouquet of flowers I found in the floral clearance section at Kroger for just $2. I let them dry out and put them in a large mason jar and love how they look. I found this genuine Himalayan salt candle holder at the thrift store for $3. All it needed was a good dusting, look how shiny it is now!
I had a large empty wall in my dining room I have been dying to do something with. I found some amazing inspiration on Pinterest for a boho gallery wall. I found all the frames at the Dollar Tree. Most of them had pictures in them but the ones I didn’t like I replaced with ones I printed. It was kind of a pain to hang that many frames and it is a little unaligned, but overall Im really happy with how it turned out. (Shout out to my amazing husband for making this project possible with his sweet hanging skills)
I didn’t do much for my Oracle table but it only needed a couple of little things. I got the frame from the Dollar Tree and printed a cute picture for it. Then the cloth, candle, and crystal for full effect.
The very last thing were these frames for my bathroom. I put the images together using Canva and printed them off, and of course got the gold frames from the Dollar Tree. I thought they were really cute quotes.
If you made it this far thanks so much for reading, and I hope I have inspired you to do some of your own redecorating. ❤
